The 3-foot Typo
The older Safeway grocery store in Louisville, Colorado, spent quite a bit of time and effort to spruce up the store to compete with some new stores that its big competitor had opened.
Once it was all done they decided to trumpet their reopening in a big way -- with a banner across the front of the store with 3-foot letters.
Fortunately for Safeway, the employees there know groceries a lot better than they know English. This sign was proudly in place for weeks:
