So last week was Thanksgiving, and my wife was willing to do all the cooking except for the turkey itself. I thought I'd try something a bit "different". It turned out exactly the way I planned it, but it was still a disaster.
My wife told me to use some foil over the bird "so it doesn't get too brown," and that gave me an idea. All I did was use some strategic foil!
But when I brought the bird to the table, it was a disaster. My mother-in-law fainted. My father-in-law (the minister) said "See, Martha?! I've been telling you he's going to hell!"
And, of course, my wife still isn't speaking to me. At least my son liked it. Here's the photo I took in the kitchen:

(For the visually impaired, the photo shows a roasted turkey "lounging" on the plate. The foil kept certain areas from getting browned... in the shape of a bikini.)
