Chinese Beemer
While traveling in China recently, I spotted quite a few cars with this logo on them -- it was at the same time very familiar, but totally unfamiliar:
It looks totally familiar since it's so clearly based on the Star Trek logo:
It looks totally unfamiliar since I've never seen it on a car before (except for geeks who claim to have been educated at "Starfleet Academy"); certainly any car company trying such a logo in the U.S. would be immediately sued for trademark infringement by Paramount. Of course, the Chinese love to copy our stuff, and aren't too worried about being sued.
So really, it's not actually a "Beemer" -- it's probably really a "Beemeup".
